Street names on navigation system
I cannot get the street names to show up on my navigation system. Why?
TX 500h won’t shift out of park, poor mpg
1800 miles and 6 weeks into our TX 500h, after short stop to buy groceries the TX would not shift out of park. The IC engine started, but the dash gave malfunction warnings pictured below, instructing us to visit our dealer. We had it towed to the dealer. It took the tow truck driver approximately 30 minutes to get the vehicle into neutral. Two days later the dealer explained that the “oscillator” needed to be replaced, but that the part was “back ordered” and will be delivered in 18 days. W
Transmission Shift Solenoids?
I have been all over this forum since picking up a 99 RX300 the other day. Car has 139k on it. Awesome info in here! Mine has the dreaded 2-3 shift issue, the kicker is, guy I got it from just had the transmission replaced with a 50k mile JDM because of said issue. Got the car back and it was still doing the same thing with the new trans in it. Now some research I have done on the JDM transmissions is that they say you have to use the solenoids from the stock trans as they do not come with them,

Hi all
Alan Funk one of the original moderators of this forum is in poor heath. He loved solving problems & helping and talking all things about cars especially his 3 Lexuses ! He has a 2007 ES350 w/Ultra-Luxury Package. w/25,000 miles. Amber Pearl w/Cashmere interior. Its only been serviced by Lexus , parked in a private spot and babied…orginal owner of course! I’m wondering if anyone has interest? I haven’t listed this anywhere else as I felt it would be respectful to him for me to present it to the Lexus Owner Club members first.
