Daytime Running Lamps
One running lamp is brighter than the other. I have replaced both bulbs to unsure they are the same and the problem persists. Any ideas?? 208 Lexus GX470
Gasoline Particulate Filters/White Exhaust Smoke
The LS500 exhaust system has two GPF (gasoline particulate filters). These cars seem to have a propensity for emitting white exhaust smoke in cold weather. Could this be due to the gasoline particulate filters that Lexus uses on the 3.4 twin turbo V6?
Service Campaign 23LJ01
Any thoughts on why 23LJ01 (2nd Key Fob program) is not listed as a service campaign on the status/health tabs of the Lexus app? I have reported to the NHTSA as I see this as a safety/security issue. The digital key is very glitchy and could leave one stranded. Lost phone or dead phone battery or dead spot could also leave one locked out and stranded. Lexus should have, at the least, provided a lower tech card key as a backup.
Power Window Switch Battery Drain
My wife's 2007 GX470 was having battery drain issues. I tracked it to the little lights on the power window switch never turning off. I pulled it and it looked like an aftermarket unit. I bought another aftermarket unit and sure enough, I had the same problem. Has anyone had any luck with replacing these with something. Non-OEM? I'm not paying almost $700 for that part from Lexus.
TX500h
I have a 2024 Lexus TX500h Luxury and drive both freeway and city. The best and average I a seeing is 21.4 MGP. I took it in to dealer and they hooked it up and said it is running properly. With the advertised MPG at 27/28 that is 20% below expected and most of the time even driving thought parking lots is in gas mode. Looking at the TX350 Luxury is rated at 21/27. Is there anyone with the same problem?

Alan Funk one of the original moderators of this forum is in poor heath. He loved solving problems & helping and talking all things about cars especially his 3 Lexuses ! He has a 2007 ES350 w/Ultra-Luxury Package. w/25,000 miles. Amber Pearl w/Cashmere interior. Its only been serviced by Lexus , parked in a private spot and babied…orginal owner of course! I’m wondering if anyone has interest? I haven’t listed this anywhere else as I felt it would be respectful to him for me to present it to the Lexus Owner Club members first.
