Rear Hatch Won't Open| Struts, Motor, Computer ?
The rear hatch on our 2016 RX began to have intermittent problems. It would sometimes stop in the middle of the cycle, and we would have to manually force it. It finally stopped working. The dealer told us it needed new liftgate struts and a new computer/motor. The estimate was over $2,300. I suggested it seemed a coincidence that the struts and the computer/motor went bad simultaneously. I suggested they replace one or the other to test it. I was told the "codes" indicated both needed to be rep
Warning lights abs brake vac and vac off plus no speed omete
I have been having this issue in my 1998 GS300 for several years. As I drive the lights will come on and speed o meter stops working until I got it off and restart. No other things seem to be happening. Car runs fine with lights on. Took it to dealer and they couldn’t make the lights come on so they couldn’t diagnose it. Any ideas? I tested the speed sensors and of course they were fine and the lights were not on?
2009 RX350 Chk eng., VSC off, Trac. cont. + P0441 and C1201
I did front suspension (struts, ball joints, tie rods, lower control arms) and all four brakes (pads and rotors) in my Lexus RX350 2009. Didnt do the wheel alighnement yet. Repair work was done one side on one day and other side on second day. After second day when I started to drive check engine, VSC off, and Traction control lights came. When i scanned P0441 and C1201 came. I erased codes, removed battery for a while, changed the gas cap to a OEM new one. Still the lights are ON. What can be t
2002 LX470 Tire sizes
I currently use 275/70R-16 tires on my 2002 LX470 but unhappy with the handling all these years. Do any of you know if I can go with lower profile tires using the same rims? Any suggestions?

Alan Funk one of the original moderators of this forum is in poor heath. He loved solving problems & helping and talking all things about cars especially his 3 Lexuses ! He has a 2007 ES350 w/Ultra-Luxury Package. w/25,000 miles. Amber Pearl w/Cashmere interior. Its only been serviced by Lexus , parked in a private spot and babied…orginal owner of course! I’m wondering if anyone has interest? I haven’t listed this anywhere else as I felt it would be respectful to him for me to present it to the Lexus Owner Club members first.
