RX400h Posted September 2, 2022 Share Posted September 2, 2022 My guess is that there was a coating on it, so if you do use a headlight lens restoration kit, you may be able to use the liquid surface protectant, also. I don't know if a clay bar will do any good but certainly the surface should be very clean. Maybe some dishwashing liquid and water followed by a water rinse would clean it, well. emim Posted September 8, 2022 Author Share Posted September 8, 2022 So I used the 3m headlight restoration kit.. HUGE fail and would not recommend or advise. It actually took off a layer of paint in one spot, quarter size or so. It made the spoiler smooth but it has the same blemishes. So not a fix..
