Monalisa Rodriguez Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 I have a 2015 ES350 Showing a clean censor displayed on the cluster & the info screen. Has anyone ever had this problem? I have an extended warranty with Lexus {Platinum Package} But they're telling me that if it's environmental, I have to eat the cost. While I'm driving, it doesn't show the fault. Only when I come to a stop. 3913 3914
RX400h Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 This post was recognized by Lexus Owners Club! RX400h was awarded the badge 'Helpful' and 20 points. I found this in a UK Lexus forum. It shouldn't hurt to try it out. Quote I read a solution online to put the smallest bit of Vaseline on a cloth, rub it well onto the particular sensor and then rub off any excess Vaseline. I applied it like this and it cured it, and I haven't had a problem since! It is clearly caused by a build-up of moisture in the sensor after heavy rain and the tiniest bit of vaseline stops it. 1
