STEVE MIESEN Posted May 6, 2022 Posted May 6, 2022 My 2008 lexus 460 cranks starts immediately ,won't start and does not crank again for 24 hours and does the same thing. It will fire up fora second.and then dies.
Angelduro Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 Mass airflow sensor? Try unplugging it, car should run with it unplugged if you don’t touch the throttle.
Jaymoe Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 Same issue with my 07 ls460. Did you ever figure this problem out? thanks jamie
sha4000 Posted July 14, 2022 Posted July 14, 2022 I'm pretty sure that there should be some trouble codes associated with this behavior. Get the codes read and check back with us. 1
P12345 Posted January 15 Posted January 15 SAME ISSUE HERE. WILL ONLY CRANK ONCE A DAY, STARTS FOR HALF A SECOND THEN DIES REALLY QUICKLY AND BUTTON GOES NONRESPONSIVE. BATTERY CHARGED, MAF SENSORS PLUGGED AND UNLPUGGED MAKE NO DIFFERENCE. ECM HAS NO COMMUNICATION WHEN I TRY TO SCAN IT, AND THERE IS NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT EVER ILLUMINATED EVEN WHEN THE VEHICLE IS POWERED ON AND ALL THE LIGHTS LIGHT UP FOR A SECOND. IM THINKING ITS THE ECM GOING BAD, BECAUSE IF IT WAS A FUSE OR RELAY I WOULDNT GET THE RANDOM CRANK AND START. ANY ONE FIND AN ISSUE YET?
