Brncn2
Hello! I recently purchased an Is250 and the rims are in really bad shape one of them is even bent, I was planning on changing them for non Lexus rims but was wondering if that would mess with the ABS system? Since I’m not sure if the Lexus rims have a sensor in them, I would prefer to not have to buy oem rims since the cost a fortune! Thanks for your help! RX400h
The most important criteria is the overall diameter of the tire/wheel combination. It looks like your OEM wheels were 17 or 18 inches in diameter. If you currently have 17 inch wheels and wish to buy larger wheels then the tire aspect ratio will be different to maintain the same overall diameter. See: Wheels for 2007 Lexus IS250 RWD (tirerack.com) Here you can select the diameter and sort by any one of a number of variables. I suggest not buying a heavier than OEM wheel, as heavier wheels will adversely affect ride quality, braking distance, and acceleration.
