alex gorycki Posted January 9, 2022 Posted January 9, 2022 Hello all, I have recently purchased an aftermarket Pioneer DMH-160BT radio to install in my ES. I also purchased a TYTO-01 harness to connect to the car's factory wiring. When I turn the car on music plays for a few seconds and then cuts out. The radio still works fine but the sound becomes very faint no matter what. The speakers and amp are fine because there are no problems when I use the factory radio. This is my second radio so I know it's not faulty. Does anyone have a clue what I can do to get sound and put my car back together?
RX400h Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 Are you sure that the aftermarket radio is fully compatible with your harness and factory speaker setup? I suspect it is not. Over the years I have purchased aftermarket car audio equipment from crutchfield.com because it comes with lifetime technical help.
