I'm hoping to be able to replace the existing OEM in-tank fuel filter & pump assembly on my recently purchased 2003 GX470 with an external fuel filter & pump for obvious improvements in both time and access to do more frequent replacing of those items. Some questions: Have any of you done this? Any reason, other than possibly limited locations with adequate space to mount the external filter / pump, that this might not be possible? Are you aware of what might be considered a typical life span for these OEM pumps? My GX has 170,000 miles on it....Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
