  1. Hello fellow SC430 owners. I have been a club participant for several years, as I have an 03 GX470 that I have been "baselining" over the past couple of years. But I just recently acquired a 2003 SC430 with 89,000 miles on it, so I will now be spending some time, and money of course, to bring it up to near new maintenance levels. As such, I have repeatedly googled "Fluid capacities" for this car, and the only info that comes back is the vehicles physical colors, dimensions, weight, tires, suspension, etc. I was hoping to find a complete list that shows all fluids; oil, transmission fluid, coolant, Diff fluid, brake and power steering fluids. Both the type or grade and capacities. Does such a list even exist for the SC430? Do you know of such a link that I could open? Thanks all
  2. Hello fellow GX'ers. I'm hoping to be able to replace the existing OEM in-tank fuel filter & pump assembly on my recently purchased 2003 GX470 with an external fuel filter & pump for obvious improvements in both time and access to do more frequent replacing of those items. Some questions: Have any of you done this? Any reason, other than possibly limited locations with adequate space to mount the external filter / pump, that this might not be possible? Are you aware of what might be considered a typical life span for these OEM pumps? My GX has 170,000 miles on it....Thanks
  3. Hi all. Just joined the Lexus forum and reading some of the GX470 Radiator comments. Question, when buying one of the new Koyorad or Denso radiators, will they both arrive with new drain plugs installed, or is that a separate part that needs to be ordered? Just purchased a used 03 GX with 170 K miles and want to go all through it to eliminate as many potential causes of possible breakdown while off roading, and don't have any reliable maintenance records on items being replaced such as radiator, thermostat, water pump and timing belt. Also, any other suggestions as to areas that I should address in order to feel a bit more comfortable about putting my wife behind the wheel would be greatly appreciated. I already intend to replace ALL fluids / filters, coolant hoses, drive belt, etc. in addition to the above items before putting it into service. Thanks
