lbinh Posted May 14, 2004 Share Posted May 14, 2004 Really no need. Remove all fuel pump fuses(engine bay and dashboard?). Start engine and let it die out. Start again to get rid of fuel pressure. Should not start after couple times. Very little fuel came out when I did it. Just need couple of rags to catch residual pressure. SKperformance Posted May 14, 2004 Share Posted May 14, 2004 no the fuel injector one will cause a backup not a relief of pressure. changing the fuel filter is almost never needed unless it has a problem you can't trace otehrwise.
