My IS250 smells hot after driving. There are no lights on. The gauge is in between hot and cold. Nothing that would alert service

Hi, Cindy. Could you describe what "smelling hot" means? Do you smell burning oil? If so, the first thing I would do is to look underneath where you park, and pop open the hood to see (with a flashlight) if you can spot any oil leaks. After so many years, valve gaskets tend to allow oil to seep past and onto the exhaust manifolds. That happened to our Rx400h. Gaskets certainly do not last forever.
