1992 SC400 ..... chrome wheels delaminating causing slow air leaks...

looks like rechroming is more trouble that its worth plus the 26 inch wheels are hard to find...i guess I'll go to online Tire Rack and get some 18 inch wheels or maybe 17 inch and rims

Any thougts on rim size 17 or 18?

Hi David.....welcome to the Club

It depends on what ratio tires you want to fit.
My BMW Z3 had 17" wheels with low profile tires but apart from cornering hard then the ride quality suffered with poor roads.
Swapped out the wheels to 15" with 60 profile tyre and looks okay, a lot smoother ride but handles very badly on tight bends 🙂
