Key Insertion

Hi All, on a 1993 GS300, can someone tell me what the key insertion is for between the trunk and hood buttons or pull tabs. It is located near the front left knee on the panel under the steering column. I think there is a faded picture on it.

Ohh, it locks the hood and trunk so one cannot use the buttons to open them?

Yep, thats the valet lockout.

Hey Big G-All that kind of info is covered in the owners manual that came with the car. If you don't have one, they are available from Lex dealers and on Ebay pretty cheap. :)
