Smart access problem

I have an 08 ES350 when I grab the driver door handle the locks most of the time won’t unlock. All the other doors work fine. The puddle light lights up when I approach the car. I have replaced the remote as well as the vehicle battery. I also replaced the driver door lock actuator. Could it be a handle problem?

Hi Tim.....welcome to the Club

It may well be handle but not entirely sure what it would fail so wouldn't write it off yet as a replacement one could be quite expensive if replaced unnecessarily
