2021 ES300h Windshield Optical Distortion

question...i test drove a 2021 ES300h and I noticed that I was unable to have a crisp focus on the car licence plates while driving. I thought it was my eyes so I blinked rapidly to clear them thinking it was me. nope the windshield has some weird prescription like view. now I do wear glasses so not sure if whatever in the glass is interfering with it. after my test drive I jumped back into my Camry and I had a crystal clear view. Any suggestions what that was about? the dealer rep at Tri County Lexus had no idea

I have encountered this on a Lexus before and found it may me a bit squiffy for a while until my eyes adjusted to it.
I couldn't tell you why though, only thought was the rake of the screen and your eyes are focusing on differing angles?
