plastic burning smell from rear of vehicle

Need some help guys! I have a 2008 LS460 57,000 miles and i have a plastic burning smell coming from the rear of the vehicle. I've looked everywhere and I don't see anything visible or any smoke whatsoever, it almost seems it's like it's coming from the exhaust. Please advise if you have experienced this or have any idea's . Thank you in advance

Did you ever resolve the problem with the burning plastic smell. I have the same issue.

Have you looked underneath to see if a plastic bag found its way onto the exhaust pipe?
