Warranties are not affected by the installation of tow hitches unless it can be proved that the hitch caused the failure of a vehicle component.

If a hitch is super important to you then it's best to verify that a hitch is available before purchasing a vehicle.

The cost of custom fabricated hitches can vary wildly.  I suggest getting several bids.  I'm going to have a class II trailer hitch fabricated for a new mid-engine Corvette C8 convertible so I can plug a bike rack into it and I won't be surprised if the total cost is well over $1,000 but that's a nit considering it's an $80,000+ car.  I will provide a detailed design to the fabricator.

Out of curiosity, do you still drive Lexus or switched to other brand? I remember you mentioned once that you switched.

I am quite disappointed with UX200. Ready to sell but do not know what should buy.

I haven't owned a Lexus since selling my 2000 LS400 to a friend in 2014.  I drove a 2014 Toyota Sienna Limited van from 2014 to 2022 when I sold it to another friend and bought a new Porsche Cayenne.   I had planned buy the new Corvette I mentioned but it never got the safety features I wanted.  I'm not sure what the Cayenne is.  Put it in Sport Plus mode and it handles like a hard core raucous sports car.  Put it in Normal mode and it's like a serene limo.

I've for decades kept an ever changing prioritized list of the features I want in a new vehicle.  A trailer hitch - either OEM or aftermarket - is a nonnegotiable item on the list.  I don't buy a vehicle if it doesn't have or I can't get a trailer hitch for it.

Having a requirements list makes it easier to identify suitable vehicles.  For example, we had planned to replace the Prius v wagon my wife drives with a Toyota RAV4 until I found out that some important features weren't available on it.  After finding that the features missing from the RAV4 were available on the similar Lexus NX, we got on a wait list for one.  By the way, an OEM trailer hitch is available for the Lexus NX.

Well, I got hitch in 2020 but overall car performance is not what I want nowadays. Partially because I have moved to country side and this vehicle is not design for this area.

Now I am debating what to get…

NX would be my choice but I feel sorry to drive this car on gravel driveways
