How long does a 2006 Lexus IS 250 Sport last?

Hello. I am looking to purchase a 2006 IS250 Sport with 159,000 miles. I was wondering if it is worth $5,000 and the reliability. Will it last another 50,000 miles?

Hey, it should in my opinion. I never had this car, but from what somewhere on the other forums that's really stable model. You can find reviews with this model and 250k miles on it, people are mostly very happy with the purchase. IS year 06-11 has some recall + carbon buildup, Airbag recall Piston ring recall Dashboard recall, the main thing is the carbon buildup if you don't know how to maintenance get IS 350

Hey, I'm a new member and I saw your post, that's almost 4yrs ago, did you buy it?, look at maintenance reports and see the looks of the car if still good, if it worth $5k

I got my 2009 IS250 last 2017 for $12k with 87k miles in it, I still have it until now 2021, running good, no issues, just proper maintenance.
