lift gate on 2010 RX 350 does not lift on its own

I have a 2010 RX 350 and the lift gate opens with the remote and the button in the car but not when I push the button on the back of the car -- any idea how to fix this?

I just figured this one out myself. Check in the glove box. On the left side, there is a button that activates and deactivates this.

Thanks Subton and 1990LS400 I did not know about the glove box switch --- but that did not help and mine was working fine then stopped -- not sure if it stopped before or after I had to change the battery - but if it stopped before my battery failed then I think there is still a solution out there somewhere.
