lift gate on 2010 RX 350 does not lift on its own

Thanks Subton and 1990LS400 I did not know about the glove box switch --- but that did not help and mine was working fine then stopped -- not sure if it stopped before or after I had to change the battery - but if it stopped before my battery failed then I think there is still a solution out there somewhere. -
My 2010 RX 350 CD player stopped working, there is no CD in it and when I try to load a CD it does nothing. I disconnected the battery and that did not help The RAD 1,2 and 3 fuses are fine. Any ideas would really be appreciated!

I have a 2010 RX 350 and the lift gate opens with the remote and the button in the car but not when I push the button on the back of the car -- any idea how to fix this?
