Center Control Panel and other items Not working, Help!

Hi there, my RX is a mess!   Center panel control was split with half working and half not.  Power locks do not work, only the driver window will open, interior lights don't work, A/C panel does not work and temp control.  It's odd, all of the necessary items work but for me here in florida the a/c is a necessity. 

 

We re-set the battery and that only made it worse.  Now the whole panel is black and the air vents aren't allowing any air flow, ugh.

I've seen some of these issues on this forum but it seems nobody has the solution.

Have you checked all the fuses?  Is the battery in good condition and are the battery terminals and cable clamps shiny clean?  

After that, you are down to diagnosing the causes of the problems following the same instructions that a professional mechanic would follow.  If you want to do this yourself, you will need to obtain the instructions - easiest way is to pay for and download them from https://techinfo.toyota.com although it may take some looking around to find them.

Diagnosing electrical problems is not something many amateurs can handle as it often takes specialized diagnostic tools and knowing how to use them.

If you not up to the task, your choice seems to be between paying a professional to do it or selling/junking the vehicle and applying the money you would have spent on fixing your RX towards buying a vehicle that is in better condition.

Vehicle electrical systems corrode and deteriorate over time and a hot, humid climate like Florida has may be a factor.

I have done all of that and absolutely not selling or scrapping it.  It's in great condition besides these items.  I took it to the Lexus dealer for a diagnostic.  Will give the details when I know.
