Andrewls400 Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 Hey just was gonna see if I could get some help with my 93 ls400. I've had this car for about 6 months, ran perfectly for about 4 months then I ran into some electrical issues. In the past month I spent a small fortune getting my starter replace, getting a tune up and having a wire connecting to the ecu replaced by Lexus themselves. Just got my car back the other day, it starts up right away and seems to have all of its power but for some reason when it's idling my car jugs and shakes an unreasonable amount. It doesn't idle any higher than before and it hasn't died on me or lost any power. But I feel like something has got to be wrong. Any help would be much appreciated!
chc0318 Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 You can read diagnostic Trouble codes first, How to Read & Clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes 1990-1994 Lexus LS400 http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/intro/codereading.html How many miles? Have the ECU repaired before?
sha4000 Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 I would take it back to the dealer since they worked on it last. Is the check engine light even on? Sounds like it might be related to the tune-up they performed.
