Tiggernlizzy Posted August 14, 2016 Share Posted August 14, 2016 I recently bought a 1998 gs400 with 93000 on it, the trans shifts hard from second to third gear with moderate acceleration, doesnt do it if I take off slowly, no lights on anywhere,Had fluid and filter changed and no difference, anyone have any ideas what it can be or what to do about it? Not sure, but it sounds like it could be a worn joint or tie-rod or something that allows excess movement in the drivetrain when under load.
