vmejia Posted February 22, 2016 Posted February 22, 2016 Hi, I just joined the forum. I have a new to me LS460L and found that it does not have an auxiliary input (currently outside the U.S.) I have already checked in the center console and can confirm that it just has a 12v socket, information on the web suggests some cars are so equipped or rather NOT equipped. I do have the LCD Screen, Mark Levinson Audio, and no Navigation (just a/c and radio controls, and other menus as well as the backup camera). Is there any solution for adapting an aux input with aftermarket equipment? Using factory controls with the aux is not of interest to me, but I do want to retain use of factory equipment. Thank you. (My excuses if the matter has been discussed before)
jamesm182 Posted February 23, 2016 Posted February 23, 2016 I have heard good things about vaistech too. I must confess I'm surprised that an LS460 has no aux/navigation.
vmejia Posted February 23, 2016 Author Posted February 23, 2016 Thank you both for your comments. I had contacted VAIS but they don't have a product for my car. Most are for cars with navigation. May try with GTA.
jamesm182 Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 That's a shame hope you can track something down! Out of interest.. Lexus themselves don't do an official iPod integration kit do they? I'm sure they used to do something for the IS250 so not sure if it would also work on the LS460 - might be worth an ask though!
uaepride Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Buy andriod screen for an ls460 from alibaba. The best solution ever 😉
