Rear Hatch Emblem Lights Up?

Hi everyone. Just bought my first Lexus Hybrid a2008 RX400h and want to know if the rear hatch emblem is supposed to light up. There is a blue outline around the "L" and inside the oval. It just seems that it should light up along with the door rails. Does anyone know if that's a stock thing or an aftermarket thing? Thanks much.

No, it is not supposed to be lighted. Blue exterior lights on vehicles are illegal.

The only thing that lights up in blue is the door entry name plates at each bottom floor covers,  it is a option and the non-hybrid are in white.

Thanks - I've actually traded in the 2008 RX400 Hybrid for a 2011 RX350 - found one with only 35,000 miles on it - couldn't pass that up!
