I recall that there are some codes that we can do, or special sequence of actions to do certain things to our cars. (I have a 99 GS400) ie. 1. "winter wipers" vs summer wipers. Mine are now in winter mode I believe. 2. changing the function of the unlock on the remote. 3. I'm sure there's more. Can someone lead me to these codes. GuyTelefunken Posted April 23, 2004 Share Posted April 23, 2004 Do you have an owners manual? RTFM! Just grab the middle of the wiper blade and push it down under the edge of the hood. It's purely mechanical! The functionality of the remote can only be changed with the Lexus/Toyota diagnostic computer. This is true of all other configurable functions on these cars as well.
