benesch Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Hello, I have a 2008 ES350 and the car battery always dies. Bought a new battery but have the same issue. Took it to the dealership and they said that if the car is not driven in a week, the car will not start as the battery will drain. They said there is nothing wrong with it. I find that hard to believe, they said there was nothing wrong with it. Friend has a 2007 and never has an issue with it, even leaving it for 2 weeks. I do not drive it too work so it sits all week and I have to jump start it all the time. Note, I always park in a parking garage and thought maybe the GPS is somehow searching all the time even when the car is off. Anyone have any ideas??
VBdenny Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Disconnect the negative terminal and check voltage across connection. At least you'll know if you have a draw.
lenore Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 generally will have 50ma of draw all of the time.
