Bumpy Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 I Had an after market water pump and a new belt installed on my 2007 es350 at NTB. It came home with a chirping sound. Now they say I need a new tensioner installed for $250.00 but won't charge me labor. Thoughts?
VBdenny Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 Seems to me that NTB should have suggested to replace the tensioners and idler pulleys with the water pump. Still, $250 seems a little steep. Most of the squeaks I've found (after changing tensioners) turned out to be the Serpentine belt. Even new belts squeak often.
