Programming Garage Opener Remote To Homelink Device

I successfully programmed our garage opener remote to the Homelink device on our Lexus but now the garage door opens and closes randomly on its own. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to resolve this?

Hi Kelly and welcome.

There are so many brands of door openers out there every once and a while you run into an odd ball that has a mind of it's own.

I'm not an expert on this problem, but in the past when I've had a problem I started with redoing the programing step again. This can help only if you have completely erased the previous try. Also, a call to the openers customer service can usually clear up the problem in a few minutes. I would encourage you to try the customer service first.

Probably caused by one of your neighbors on the same frequency. Had that happene before..
