Car Doesn't Stay Alive.

I have a 95 lexus with 250k miles. Few weeks ago my car randomly died while i was drive. I tried cranking it up but as soon as i changed to drive the engine immediately died. The car can crank up and the engine can idle for 20 secs before it dies. Also the battery and oil pressure light is coming up when it dies. I took it to a local mechanic and they said it might be a "computer" problem?

If you hold the gas pedal down does the car stay running.?

yea,but it dies if i take it off

Could be the Idle control valve. Maybe a cleaning might fix your problem.
