audio28 Posted March 30, 2004 Posted March 30, 2004 Alright, I got everything removed in about an hour, but once it was time to install the hid headlights, the plug did not match up w/ my non hid headlights. I don't know how to post here, so I posted it on another forum, can you guys help me out. I have no idea what to do. http://honda-tech.com/zeromodify?cm...post&id=9139675
SKperformance Posted March 30, 2004 Posted March 30, 2004 what car? what year? where did you get the parts? from what car and year? do you get my drift you are asking a pretty specific question with hardly any info. who told you it would work anyway?
GuyTelefunken Posted March 30, 2004 Posted March 30, 2004 Yeah really. What made you think it was going to be Plug-And-Play? Furthurmore, I would assume that you have not gotten and installed the self leveling harnesses, sensors, and computer?
alexus Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 most likely you got hid bulbs seperatly from your hid modules, you need to find compatible or you can rewire existing one.. i'd suggest you to take all this stuff to local sound/alarm store they either will do it for you or at least they can refer you to another store who can do that, there is about at least few dozens where i live..
maaloxx Posted April 4, 2004 Posted April 4, 2004 Well, the same thing happened to me today...get everything off and Non-HID harness doesn't fit! Well, unless someone can tell me how to get them working...I guess there for Sale :(
audio28 Posted April 4, 2004 Author Posted April 4, 2004 It's really simple. On your hid headlights there is a white plug, cut it and get ready spice them. Now on your car there is a plug that was orgianlly plugged into your non hid lights. Ibelieve the color is brown. Cut that off and spice that into your hid lights. Just match them up red/red and black/black. It could also be white. I connected them together with some bud connectors, and wrapped them with electrical tape for extra security. That's it. Good luck.
