  1. It's really simple. On your hid headlights there is a white plug, cut it and get ready spice them. Now on your car there is a plug that was orgianlly plugged into your non hid lights. Ibelieve the color is brown. Cut that off and spice that into your hid lights. Just match them up red/red and black/black. It could also be white. I connected them together with some bud connectors, and wrapped them with electrical tape for extra security. That's it. Good luck.
  2. Alright, I got everything removed in about an hour, but once it was time to install the hid headlights, the plug did not match up w/ my non hid headlights. I don't know how to post here, so I posted it on another forum, can you guys help me out. I have no idea what to do. http://honda-tech.com/zeromodify?cm...post&id=9139675
  3. I have some chips here and there on the car. Some are actually pretty big. I was wondering what the best way to "touch up" these areas on my car. Should I order on the internet, or should I just go to the lexus dealership? Or is there any other recommendations you can give me?
  4. are you talking about flitz paste metal polish? If yes, where can I buy this? I used the scratch x, it worked better on my car then the headlights. it really didn't do much on the headlights.
  5. I have some scuffs, blemishes, and not really deep scratches on my headlights. I was wondering if I can use anything to get them removed. Thanks
  6. I have a non-hid headlights, and I just received my hid headlights. I was wondering if there is a diy for installing these headlights. Or even if you guys can help me with installing them. Do you have to remove the bumper? Thanks in advance.
  7. Thanks for the help. Here is what I just ordered. Poorboys EX Sealent and Polish 303 Aerospace Wool Washmit Ultimate detailing towels Sorring for being a newb, but I still have a couple of questions. I couldn't find the product woolite for cleaning the leather? What do I use to wash the car? Should I just use DAWN?
  8. I haven't read it yet, but after this I will read it. My car is a 2000 GS. It is still in pretty good condition. The color is Millenium Silver. There is no fading outside or in. I can spend about 2-3 hours on cleaning, but I would like the "shine" to last for at least 3 weeks. Thank You very much for you help!!
  9. Alright I've done a lot of research, but there are so many different things and products that everyone is using. I wanted to get a good idea and recommendation on what I should use. Exterior What kind of wash? What kind of wax? Interior Lexol or Leatherique? What kind for the dash and plastic areas in the car? Is Microfiber important when drying the car? I have the California water blade, which takes the water off, will this do damage to the car? Thanks for the info and the help.
  10. Sounds great!! I will let you know, when I need this done. Is there an e-mail address I can get a hold of you.
  11. That sounds like a good price to me. I bought my gs300 for 24000 at 17k but it wasn't serviced at Lexus. Try to get a extended warrenty, sine the gs came out first in 98 it might have some defects.
  12. if you don't mind me asking, how can you afford to do it for free. I'm really interested.
  13. I'm going to purchase a after market flip screen monitor. I was orignally going to buy a clarion, but someone told me that if I get a pioneer, it will work with my stock cd changer. I have a 2000 gs300. What will it take to work? Is it possible? Thanks for the help.
