Strange engine noise!!

I have a 2001 GS300 with 15,000 miles on the odo. I notice that there's been a strange noise coming from the engine. It sounds like a buzzing bee and it only occurs when I'm accelerating. The sound comes when I'm travelling at 30 mph and above that or below the engine runs perfectly. I haven't taken it in to the dealer yet. Anyone know what's going on?

hi my rx-300 does that too. only when accelrating at 3000 rpm or above though

Some here with my GS 300. But the noise only occurs when I acclerate to about 10mph.

Any ideas anyone? Thanks

A buzzing niose is usually something vibrating, either something is loose or it's resonant harmonic is at that speed.
