93 Es300 (Camry Xle V6) Cruise Not Working

picked this rig up and cruise not working. green cruise light comes on but cruise will not engage . Is there a way to test the servo assembly up by the battery. speedo works, brake lights come on, no ebrake light on dash. thanks in advance.

I would check brake light switch under the dash...Sometimes the switch is a two part switch and the half that disables the cruise is defective.
