94 Sc 300 Strange Transmission Noise

I have a 94 sc 300, auto, 117k, and I've only owned it for a short while but for a couple weeks now it has been making this strange sound that seems to go away once it has moved to 2nd gear and the noise is a lot quieter when the car is completely warmed up.

I did a fluid change which seemed rather pointless as what came out of the pan was still pretty red, but I topped it off with toyota type 4 since I've been reading that it is the best to use for this transmission and now it shifts a lot smoother. It used to down shift into first or second a bit but now its not even noticable, but this noise is still there..
