Gx 460 Vibration After Car Setting

Recommended Posts

My 460 has a periodic steering vibration after it has set for a period of time. I was told by dealer it was possibly the Bridgestone tires developing a flat spot from not being driven. It sometimes occurs after one hour and sometimes not until after setting for 3-5 days. I have now put Michelin tires on and same thing is happening. I have continually taken it back for balancing and rotation and it still continues to have the periodic vibration. I now have over 50,000 miles on it and still no answer from Lexus dealer or tire dealer.

Anyone else had this problem or have a suggestion?

Mine also will do this sometimes but normally after driving for a short while it seems to go away. I try to keep a eye on my air pressure and I run a little lower PSI than reccomended.

If there is dirt on the INSIDE of your wheels, it will often fall and settle on one side of the wheel. Then, when you go for a drive, the wheel will be out of balance. Look on the inside of the wheel and make sure it is clean....all the way around.
