LEX-SV Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 I know this is an IS250/350 thread, but it sure seems like most here no longer have IS350 's.... Just checking for signs of life.
LEX-SV Posted March 18, 2013 Author Posted March 18, 2013 I guess some are waiting for 2014 model year...
Lexually Explicit Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 I know this is an IS250/350 thread, but it sure seems like most here no longer have IS350 's.... Just checking for signs of life. Yes I still have mine after one month LOL
LEX-SV Posted March 21, 2013 Author Posted March 21, 2013 Lexually Explicit - Yes, I do remember your recent purchase of the IS350, (freshly tinted too). I'm sure your enjoying it.
LEX-SV Posted April 1, 2013 Author Posted April 1, 2013 I still have my 2006. Cool, how's it holding up? Do you have lots of miles on yours? (My model year 2007 IS just hit 6 years old, since I use it mostly as a weekend car mileage is 45K).
LEX-SV Posted May 10, 2013 Author Posted May 10, 2013 2014 IS350 is ending up being slightly slower than previous gen, probably due to extra 100+ pounds of weight. But the reviews and road tests are putting the 2014 near the top of class, with great handling, refinement, luxury, ride, interior features and comfort.
bartkat Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Sorry for the late reply. I don't drive my IS very much. I only just turned 35K miles on it. I've had all the recalls done although I never noticed any of the symptoms Lexus mentioned. Car runs as good if not better than when it was new.
LEX-SV Posted May 10, 2013 Author Posted May 10, 2013 bartkat - Thanks for reply. I tend to use my IS350 for a weekend-only car too, therefore it has 45K miles. Also still runs like new.
Lexually Explicit Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 I still do, although I haven't driven it in nearly a week because I'm recovering from eye surgery. I do gaze at it adoringly from my window though : )

LEX-SV Posted October 10, 2013 Author Posted October 10, 2013 To us chickens out there that still own IS350's, Happy Columbus Day (Monday 10/14)!
exit9 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Still have my 2011 350 AWD with 63K miles. Just got the recall VVT gears letter. I'll let them fix it during the 65K service.
LEX-SV Posted November 11, 2013 Author Posted November 11, 2013 exit9 - Glad to hear you still have the IS350awd. Your awd version is pretty rare, must be great when the snow hits New Jersey. Looks like you do a lot mile per year in the Lexus.
exit9 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Yeah I usually average around 25K - 30K miles a year in my cars. Have not seen another 350 AWD since I bought mine. Once in a while a 350 RWD but those are rare in NJ. Plenty of 250 AWDs around but I couldn't go down significantly on power since my last car was a G37xS.
LEX-SV Posted November 11, 2013 Author Posted November 11, 2013 In northern California, I've never seen a IS350 AWD. In last 5 years I've seen 5 or 6 IS250 AWDs, even those are somewhat rare.
JDMVIPCars.com Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Currently driving a 93 GS, not in a hurry to sell, but have been considering for quite sometime now an IS350 when I do decide to move on. How are you owners liking them?
LEX-SV Posted November 18, 2013 Author Posted November 18, 2013 JDMVIPCars - The IS350 2006-2013 would be a solid and reliable Lexus for your purposes. It's very quick since it's the lightest Lexus model with the 3.5L (306hp) engine. The clean and simple styling works well with those doing VIP mods, saw many excellent examples of ISx50's at BOS at Fremont Lexus dealership 3 years ago.
