vmiller
How do I go about removing the metal windshield molding on each side of the windshield? The paint is peeling off and I wanted to remove it an spray paint it. Are special tools required to remove it? It is a '96 LS400.
tansupplyman
don't think you should do this. May regret something. Should be able to sand with 600, mask things off, and spray with black semigloss(the most expensive you can find) without any problem. vmiller
Thanks. That is probably the best way since I have no idea of what I would be getting into.

I had my windshield changed and there is a possibility that those rails coould be embedded in the windshield glue. Joe
vmiller
Thanks for your reply. I will just mask it off and paint it.
