coppens1 Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 Dear Fellow Lexus Owners, I just bought a 2001 Lexus ES300. Beautiful car, but the master key is damaged, so I need to get another made. The Lexus dealer charges at least $75. Does anyone have any experience with getting a locksmith to make the key? Where can you get the blank key? JC
SW03ES Posted August 27, 2012 Posted August 27, 2012 I would order a key online from www.sewellpartsonline.com. You can give them the VIN and they will cut the key and send it to you... I think you'll find $75 is a pretty good deal though. Is it a remote master key like this? http://lexus.sewellparts.com/accessories-catalog/Keys/ES300-2001/2806.html Sewell's price is $188.
