Cruise Control Problem

hello i got a is 350 2007 when i activate the cruise control button the light in the dash stay green but i cant set a speed. i need help to resolve this problem thx

I'm assuming that when you say "activate" you are performing both the "on" and the "set" tasks, right? If so I would check for a burnt fuse. Good luck.

Yah--turning the cruise "on" doesn't set your speed. First you turn it "on", get to the speed you want, then hit "set". If you have to deactivate, you don't hit "off"--you either push "cancel" or hit the brake. Then if you hit "resume" it will go back to the previously set speed.

ya i understand how the cruise control "work" cause it the same on my toyota celica 2000 guys but i cant set a speed when i push it down

Maybe the brake switch is bad....Sometimes they have a two part switch for brakes which disingadges the speed set.
