My 07 Gs350 won't hit high rpm when accelerating, resulting in slower-than-4-cylinder 0-60 time.

I have traction control on, however, i don't see how that can limit the revs.

I even turned traction off. Still no difference.

This video shows a DIFFERENT gs350. the driver having traction control off, but it turns back on shortly, and he can hit the rev limit.

My car, on the other hand, does not hit above 4k rpm, and only hits 60 after 9 seconds of hard acceleration!!!!

so slow.

I floor the gas, and rpm does not go to 6500.

S-mode makes no difference. Sport ECT mode makes no difference.

You see the other driver in first video is driving in regular D mode !!

I had the valve spring recall done september last year. I never noticed the slow acceleration recently because the wife drives it 99% of the time.

What am I doing wrong?

I would take it back to the dealer & tell them that it isn't the same. Seems like something is wrong with the engine.

It almost sounds like my GS300. How many miles are on your GS? it could be a lot of things at this point. have you replaced your spark plugs and wires?
