Noob Just Purchased 1999 Ls400

Hello all! After much lurking and research on this forum, I purchased my first Lexus last weekend. It's a 99 LS400, black on black, with a clean pre-purchase inspection from the Lexus service department. There are a couple of items that need attention and I hope to correct them this weekend. It's a beautiful car, one of the best riding vehicles I've ever owned. Even though it needs front shocks (to be corrected this weekend) the ride is still incredible.

Thanks for all of the collective knowledge contributed by everyone. I think it turned me into an informed buyer and I believe after much searching, I found the right car for me.

Good luck with the car! I have 210,000 on mine, replaced struts and lower ball joints and now have to do left cat. It has been a great car!

I've also just bought an LS400. Mine is black on black 1998 mark 4 and I love it! I'm over in the uk but have found the information here invaluable. Great site!
