Lock Unlock Sound / Engine Sound

just purchased a 2007 rx 350 base with 71k.

should the car sound when you lock and unlock the vehicle? lights flash but no sound?

the engine is noisy at cold start up(im in the midwest) and engine sounds like diesel or the valves

are super noisy when at normal temps . vehicle was fully inspected and sold by lexus dealership.

your thoughts are appreciated.

had car serviced and diagnosed as idler pulley failure. had it replaced and sounds normal now.
