All Mine
I have rebuilt my calipers on my 2001 ES300. I have bled the brakes manually without the carrunning and The pedal is as hard as a rock. But when I started the carand push the pedal it seems very soft again.. What the hell did I do wrong?? DBrucher
You bled the brakes with the car off. That's what you did wrong.
lenore
When the car is off, you are feeling the most resistance, because the booster is not working without vacuum from the engine....Did you bleed the rear right side first, than the left, and then the right front and last the left front? You may just still have some air in the system...Take it for a spin around the block and repeat the bleed again...It will probably get better. As for the car being on it doesnt absolutely have to be, the Abs however may still have air in it....that is why he said leave the car on....
