C5Bob Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 I found a thread on the forum that suggested a possible fix for a low tire warning that appears faulty because all 4 tires reported 30 psi. After several attempts to initialize the TPMS - including adding more air to all 4 tires, I did a forum search and found the fix. I attempted to find the thread tonight to report another success, but failed to find it. I think this nugget is worth sharing, so I will launch a new thread. I have known for a long time that the RX400h was much smarter than I am. It has never occurred to me to routinely check the air pressure in the spare tire . . . so the 400h does it for me (and you as well). I dropped the spare and it read 25 psi. After bringing the pressure to 30 psi I did the initializing drill and the warning light went out. The computer was happy, and I was happy. Truly a Merry Christmas! This forum rocks!
RX400h Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Is this true for the 2006s as well? In any case, it's good to know - thanks!
SW03ES Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Yep, its the spare. Just happened to me too.
