Sold Rattle Noise Coming From Front Passenger Side

Hey Forum,

I was hoping you could help a fellow Lexus owner out

Okay, well the main issue is that I have this noise coming from the front passenger side only. Now the noise only happens when I drive over small "repeated type" bumps, driving anywhere from 20-50MPH over them. Now I did hit a pretty good sized pot hole over a year ago on that exact front passenger side tire, and man did I cringe . I've had the car inspected by multiple places, and the control arm, ball joints, sway links, etc etc are all very very solid.

Has anyone else had this exact issue, and what was the solution and the price?

Check your struts. I replaced all 4 of mine, 2 at a time, and it made a world of difference. Any funny noises, front or back were gone. I also did mine right at 125K...

Struts, and/or strut mounts. thye are not greasable units so they get dry and make metal on metal noises... Happens in my car, but my struts are shot.
