Soarerlover Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 I'm a new member here. Anyway, I try to replace the dome light on my SC300. it's always easy to replace high & low beams on SC300 but I just don't see where the dome light is. Any help will be appreciated.............
slidermike Posted February 25, 2004 Posted February 25, 2004 my 93 sc400 has the light housing and the semi-clear window that the light comes through. You have to use a flat head screw driver and put it up between the "window" and the plastic housing. Do this in the "rear" while you are siting in the drivers seat. Seperate the clear window from the plastic housing in each corner area, as the "window" piece is held in place via 4 clips (molded plastic). 2 of the clips are in the "front" corners and 2 in the "rear" corners. once you have the 2 back corner clips depressed, you should be able to pull the "windows" piece out by hand. Hope this helps, since i had to figure it out myself on my car too.
