jxochipili Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Normally I think of myself as handy but in this case I need advice. How do I access the driver side, side marker light to change the bulb. Do I have to disassemble something as I cannot figure out how it comes out. Thanks for any advice. Jeff 2000 RX300
1990LS400 Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 If you are talking about the side market light on the side of the front bumper cover, I think access is through the wheel well as on my 2000 LS400 which has the side marker in the same place. Loosen the front of the inner fender liner just enough to squeeze your hand in.
dcort Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Just changed my front amber markers, thanks to all. Some tips that seemed to help: Use a short Phillips screwdriver or, if you have an elbow driver like used for doorknobs, it helps. You may want to crank the wheel over for more room. Finally, the holding assembly has 2 different sized tabs to fit the receiver openings. They are adjacent, not opposing. So, it fits only one way.
