kyle0k Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 What does the ECT button do???like i know it changes at higher rpms but when your flooring it ,it doesnt matter b\c they car will automatically redline it for you no matter if you have etc on or off. Does it actually do something else too though,b\c my friend said that its faster somehow else too not just b\c of revs.

kyle0k Posted February 24, 2004 Author Posted February 24, 2004 before i did a search and came up with nothing but just now i realized its b\c the only past 30 day function was on. so i did a search on it and i didnt find the main thread that like evry thread i found baout the button keeps reffering too but form all the small threads i got that it does nothing if ure flooring it. so if i wanted to rip off the line as fast as i could there would be nothing for me to do,other then put overdrive off. If i where gunning it whole time that wouldnt matter,but i found gunning it from start is horrible b\c tires jsut spin out for like couple seconds. Best results from the line for me is when i graduallygo to full throttle.
